Arrival at Bandaranaike International Airport.
Meet & greet by Ceylonian Lanka and travel to Chilaw.
Visit the sacred Munneswaram Temple, one of the oldest Shiva temples in Sri Lanka, believed to be where Lord Rama prayed to Lord Shiva to absolve the sin of killing Ravana.
Overnight: Chilaw
Negombo is a charming coastal town known for its beaches and laid-back atmosphere. Spend the rest of the day relaxing by the beach or recovering from your journey.
Travel north to Mannar, believed to be connected to Ram Setu (Adam’s Bridge), built by Lord Rama’s army to reach Lanka.
Visit:
Manavari Temple – where Lord Rama installed the first Shiva Lingam
Ancient coastal landscapes associated with Ramayana legends
This region is less visited, making it a hidden spiritual destination.
Overnight: Mannar
Travel to Trincomalee on the east coast.
Visit the holy Koneswaram Temple, perched on Swami Rock overlooking the Indian Ocean.
This temple is mentioned in Ramayana-era legends and is one of the Pancha Ishwarams dedicated to Lord Shiva.
Evening at leisure near the calm east-coast sea.
Overnight: Trincomalee
Journey inland to Kandy, surrounded by hills and forests.
Explore Sri Lanka’s cultural traditions and enjoy a peaceful hill-town atmosphere.
Kandy represents the royal era of Lanka, connected to ancient kingdoms and epic storytelling.
Optional cultural dance performance in the evening.

Drive into the misty hill country to Nuwara Eliya, believed to be part of ancient Ashok Vatika.
Visit:
Seetha Amman Temple – where Seetha Devi was held captive
Ashok Vatika – lush forest area described in Ramayana
This is one of the most sacred Ramayana locations for Indian devotees.
Overnight: Nuwara Eliya
Travel towards Ella, passing waterfalls and mountain roads.
Visit:
Divurumpola Temple – where Seetha Devi proved her purity
Ravana Falls – associated with Seetha’s bathing place
Ravana Cave – hidden cave believed to be part of Ravana’s kingdom
These sites are less commercial, peaceful, and deeply spiritual.
Overnight: Ella
After breakfast, travel back toward Colombo through scenic landscapes.
En route reflection on the sacred journey connecting India and Sri Lanka through Ramayana.
